2009 San Diego International Auto Show

January 3, 2009

I was watching the news and was excited to find out the auto show is in town.  Then a co-worker had a free ticket and asked me if I wanted it.  I was glad to take it off his hands.  I went on today and spent only about 1 1/2 hours at the show.  It was very dissapointing to me.  I thought there would be some great cars out there.  There were some nice cars but nothing that would justify a “WOW” factor.  The most interesting car was the Nissan Skyline, that is a beautiful car.  Honorable mention would be the Lexus type F.  Here are some pics I took.

Sunset Cliffs

December 14, 2008

One of San Diego’s hidden gem,  Sunset Cliffs is both beautiful and dangerous.  When strolling along the path you have to be conscious of where you are at all times.  Not only is the view of the ocean beautiful but also the homes along Sunset Cliff Blvd.  The homes are unique in style, no two are alike, and also have large lots.

From North county you would take 5 South, take the SeaWorld exit and bear right.  Continue onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd. and keep driving until you see the ocean.  We parked at the very first parking space available.  Unlike La Jolla Cove, where it’s hard to find a spot to park, there are plenty of parking spaces that is available.  Sunset Cliffs is not like La Jolla Cove from first glance because there are no stores, restaurants, or any vendors along the walk.  The walk took us a bit over an hour with all the stops and sight seeing.  We took the stairs down to this little cove which was fantastic.  The waves would come splashing in and our feets got wet.  This was the funniest time during the walk.  I would recommend this place if you want to get away from all the tourist at other beaches.
